The new 1" high definition Pinnacle ring radiator tweeter is the result of more than 40 years of tweeter innovation, design, and prototyping. It was created by Polk Audio and offers incredibly clean, clear highs without any undesirable coloration or distortion.
To achieve the accurate reproduction of the mid-range, to which human ears are most sensitive, Polk created the 5.25" Turbine cone specifically for our flagship products. Polk's unique foam core and molded Turbine geometry are combined in the Turbine cone to significantly boost stiffness and damping without adding mass.
The Eigentone Filter (ETF) in Polk's recently developed X-Port provides easy bass without distortion. a group of closed-pipe absorbers that have been specifically adjusted to detect and remove conventional speaker distortions. For clear, rich music, X-Port makes sure that the upper bass and mid-range are free of port and cabinet resonances.
